Religion
The total atmosphere of Our Lady of Assumption School reflects the spirit of Christian life and learning. Christian doctrine is presented at each grade level. The liturgical year is celebrated and understood through liturgical, sacramental, classroom, and school-wide activities. The observance of feast days and seasonal traditions enhances the spiritual training. Students attend Mass on a weekly basis, and each classroom is given the opportunity to prepare liturgical celebrations. Sacramental preparation takes place through classroom activities and through parent meetings. Provided there has been formal religious education classes in the first grade, students are prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of Eucharist in the second grade.

Library
Our Lady of Assumption School has a varied collection of fiction and non-fiction books; picture books for young readers, chapter books for elementary readers, and audio books and age-appropriate novels for middle school. The school uses a web-based circulation program, Destiny, that teacher and students can access.

Computer Lab
All students have access to computer technology via a mobile lab. Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 utilize the computers on a daily basis as part of their technology instruction. The mobile lab is utilized in grades PK – 5 to support and enhance instruction and learning.
